VuLink Cellular Telemetry Device

VuLink is a data logger and global cellular telemetry device for continuous groundwater, surface water, stormwater, coastal, and remote water-quality monitoring. It connects compatible instruments to HydroVu so teams can collect, access, and manage field data without visiting every site.

One-press setup automatically detects In-Situ instruments, while VuSitu supports advanced setup over Bluetooth Low Energy. VuLink can also read third-party SDI-12 and pulse instruments through the optional Load-Bearing Universal Adapter. Built-in GPS, barometric compensation, remote setup, alarms, and over-the-air firmware updates support dependable long-term deployments.

Why it works

• Global cellular connectivity. LTE-M and NB-IoT communications include 2G fallback for broad coverage across supported networks.
• Long field life. Three standard D-cell batteries can provide up to two years of operation with a multiparameter sonde using hourly readings and uploads under specified conditions.
• In-well installation. The 1.85-inch diameter housing fits inside standard 2-inch well casings and caps, reducing the need for a separate mounting pole.
• Expanded instrument support. Modbus over RS-485, SDI-12, and pulse inputs support In-Situ and compatible third-party instruments.
• Rugged deployment. The sealed IP68 device supports vented and non-vented instruments without external desiccant.
• Integrated data workflow. HydroVu provides maps, dashboards, data access, and alert workflows, with a limited free cellular transmission allowance included for the life of the instrument.

Configuration note: VuLink is sold without an antenna. Confirm the antenna, cellular coverage, connected instrument power requirements, reporting interval, HydroVu plan, mounting, and any Load-Bearing Universal Adapter requirements before ordering.
